An Outsource Manager will oversee the content production by external vendors and manage the quality to ensure that it meets the standards for our new IP.
The ideal candidate for this position establishes and maintains a positive relationship within the team and external vendors and has the ability to promote successful collaboration and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a highly experienced Outsource Manager who can establish effective workflow and communication processes to create and manage a roadmap as well as development schedule to complete external tasks, while ensuring the deadlines are met and best practices adopted.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with team leads to understand, determine, and provide outsourcing needs for content and development
Establish a good pipeline with a good understanding of the characteristics of our team and external vendors
Manage asset backlog, priority, timescale, cost control
Provide feedback to external vendors in a timely manner
Promote new outsourcing processes and partnerships within the team
Collaborate with producers to scope, negotiate and contract with external partners, set core goals, manage delivery schedules, and improve workflow
Improve communication within the team and with external vendors utilizing both English and Japanese
Skills & Requirements
3+ years of outsourcing and external content/development management experience
Experience managing assets and schedules from the game planning stage to launch
Experience with workflow and productivity tools (e.g. Shotgun) used in game development and outsourcing
Leadership skills and the ability to take initiatives
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Business level proficiency in both Japanese and English
Adaptability to respond to other duties as assigned

仕事内容
チームリードと協力し、コンテンツおよび開発に関するアウトソースニーズを理解、判断、提供する
自社チームと外部ベンダーの特徴を理解し、良好なパイプラインを構築する
アセットバックログ、優先順位、タイムスケール、コスト管理
外部ベンダーとタイムリーなフィードバックを行う
新しいアウトソーシングプロセスとパートナーシップを組織内で推進する。
プロデューサーと協力し、外部パートナーとのスコープ、交渉と契約、コアゴールの設定、納品スケジュールの管理、ワークフロー改善を行う
英語を日本語を使用しチーム内及び外部ベンダーとのコミュニケーションの向上
必要な資格
3年以上のゲーム業界におけるアウトソーシングの外部開発パートナーとの協業経験
プロダクションまたはその他の管理職として、開発ライフサイクル全般の経験
ゲーム開発およびアウトソーシングで使用されるワークフローおよび生産性向上ツール（Shotgunなど）の経験
リーダーシップと自発性
卓越したコニュニケーション能力
英語と日本語がビジネスレベル
その他、割り当てられた業務への対応力
